Christiaan Frickel

Director & Co-Founder

Christiaan is a Director and co-founder of Evocators Group Ltd, bringing more than two decades of technology and change leadership experience to the firm’s consultancy work.

Before establishing Evocators, Christiaan spent around 18 years working at senior executive level in professional and regulated services, including a period as Chief Information Officer for a major UK organisation — operating at board level while maintaining a hands-on style and an in-depth understanding of the services his teams delivered.

Since founding Evocators, Christiaan has advised businesses at every stage of their technology journey — from high-level IT strategy and vendor selection through to hands-on systems implementation and coaching in-house development teams on agile and scrum ways of working. He has particular expertise in change management, operational and strategic planning, software development oversight, vendor relationship management and procurement.

Christiaan leads much of Evocators’ Virtual IT Leadership and IT Strategy & Planning work, drawing on first-hand experience of what it actually takes to run a technology function well — not just advise on one from the outside.

Outside of client work, Christiaan can usually be found preparing for or competing in classic rally cars, dinghy racing in the summer, or snowboarding when the season allows.
